Welcome to my blog! I hope to share with you some of my of money-saving and fun wedding projects as I complete them for myself as a DIY bride. I’ll also provide tutorials for some of my fun non-wedding related crafts.

 

About me:

I grew up in Baltimore and currently live in coastal Virginia with my husband and our four rescued fur-babies, two cats Apollo & Artemis and two dogs Andromeda (Andie) & Nala.

I started this blog to document our wedding-planning process. We were about 10 months out from our wedding date then and had already been engaged for about a year. Our long engagement afforded me the opportunity to DIY a lot of projects for the wedding.

I have had so much fun experimenting and crafting in the process and my hope is to share some of these projects with other DIY-brides! I also try to document the cost of each project and compare it to retail prices, because many of these DIY projects are great for keeping wedding costs down.

I love crafting and creating things, especially using items found around the house and yard; another section of this blog is devoted to non-wedding-related crafts that I complete.
